• Is There Downtime?

  During a period of one week post treatment, the treated skin may begin to darken and flake. On the face, this can and should be covered with tinted moisturizer with SPF, which may cover the dark flakes completely.

• Who Should Not Recieve Pixel Laser Resurfacing?

  If you have any of the following, you are not a candidate for this treatment: Accutane use within the last 6 months, Active Acne, Active infection of any type (viral, fungal, bacterial), Anemia, Blood thinner medications (NSAIDS, ASA, Coumadin/Warfarin), Bleeding Disorders, Cardiac disease/abnormalities, Cellulitis (MRSA), Chemotherapy or radiation, Chronic Disease (Crohn’s Disease, IBD, etc.), Collagen Vascular Disease, Diabetes Mellitus that is Poorly Controlled, Eczema, Psoriasis, or Dermatitis, Extensive radiation therapy, Hemophilia/bleeding disorders, History of Herpes in the treatment area, Impaired Immune system, Infections that are recurrent, Lichen Planus, Lichen Nitidus, Keloid/hypertrophic scarring (for micro-needling treatments), Malignancy, Multiple Sclerosis, Pregnancy/Lactation, Poor healing in the treatment area Post-Inflammatory Hyper-pigmentation, History of Psoriasis, Raised lesions (moles, warts, etc), Recent chemical peel procedure or ablative dermal procedure, Recent use of some topical prescription, Renal Failure (Acute or Chronic), Rheumatoid Arthritis/Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis, Peripheral Vascular Disease, Psychiatric Disorders or Subnormal Intelligence, Scleroderma, Skin Cancer, Sunburn, Thrombocytopenia, Uncontrolled diabetes, and or Vascular lesions (hemangioma).

• How Many Treatments Will I Need?
